# Mars Explorer

**This project has been archived and there are no plans to develop it further or suppor it.**

Mars Explorer is an Android application. The app retrieves images sent from the three exploration rovers
currently on Mars - [Curiosity](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curiosity_(rover)),
[Opportunity](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opportunity_(rover)),
and (now defunct) [Spirit](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_(rover)) and displays them neatly for the user to browse.

The application consumes [Mars Photo API](https://github.com/chrisccerami/mars-photo-api) for the images and [REMS API](http://cab.inta-csic.es/rems/wp-content/plugins/marsweather-widget/api.php) for the weather report.
