An interactive 3D study of a conceptual planetary actuator. Explore the motor, controller, encoder, bearings, gears, carrier, housing, and output shaft; isolate components and switch between exploded, assembled, and gear-motion views.

## Run locally

This is a static site. From the repository root, run:

```sh
python3 -m http.server 8031
```

Then open `http://127.0.0.1:8031/actuator-study.html`.

## Model boundary

This is original procedural geometry for an educational architecture study, not a manufacturer teardown or dimensional CAD. The 15 entries include assemblies. Packaging, electronics, motor details, bearing details, clearances, and gear-tooth profiles are simplified. The selected 18/18/54-tooth planetary train produces a 4:1 reduction; its torque example assumes lossless transfer.

Three.js and OrbitControls are included under the MIT license in [vendor/THREE-LICENSE.txt](vendor/THREE-LICENSE.txt).
