# Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/sksq96/pytorch-summary

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd pytorch-summary

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Python

Easy Recommended

Prerequisites

Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
Python 3 On Windows, be sure to check 'Add Python to PATH' during installation.

pip install .

Installs the package published on PyPI directly — no need to clone the source.

python <실행할 파일명>.py # README에서 정확한 실행 파일명을 확인하세요

Runs the Python script (or module).

✅ If it runs without errors and prints output in the terminal, it worked.

## Keras style `model.summary()` in PyTorch

Keras has a neat API to view the visualization of the model which is very helpful while debugging your network. Here is a barebone code to try and mimic the same in PyTorch. The aim is to provide information complementary to, what is not provided by `print(your_model)` in PyTorch.

### Usage

- `pip install torchsummary` or 
- `git clone https://github.com/sksq96/pytorch-summary`

from torchsummary import summary
summary(your_model, input_size=(channels, H, W))
```

- Note that the `input_size` is required to make a forward pass through the network.
