# Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/tfkhdyt/bayarcoek

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd bayarcoek

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Official Install Script

Easy Recommended

Prerequisites

Node.js Node.js must be installed to use npm.

npm install -g bayarcoek

Installs the package published on the npm registry globally — no need to clone the source.

✅ After installing, open a new terminal and run the program's version command (e.g. --version) to confirm it worked.

3. Node.js

## Requirements

- Node.js (v14 or higher)
- NPM / Yarn / pnpm

## Warning

Gunakan script ini dengan hati-hati.
Secara default, script ini akan meng-encrypt semua file dan folder di mana anda menjalankan command `bayarcoek` (Current Working Directory).
Jangan sampai kalian tanpa sengaja meng-encrypt seluruh storage kalian.
Saya tidak bertanggung jawab atas segala kesalahan yang terjadi karena kecerobohan user.

## Installation

1. Install package

- Local
  - NPM
    ```bash
    npm install bayarcoek --save-dev
    ```
  - Yarn
    ```bash
    yarn add bayarcoek --dev
    ```
  - pnpm
    ```bash
    pnpm add -D bayarcoek
    ```
- Global (bisa dijalankan di mana saja, tapi tidak direkomendasikan karena sangat berisiko)
  - NPM
    ```bash
    npm install -g bayarcoek
    ```
  - Yarn
    ```bash
    yarn global add bayarcoek
    ```
  - pnpm
    ```bash
    pnpm add -g bayarcoek
    ```

## Usage

1. Masuk ke folder project yang ingin di-encrypt

```bash
cd path/to/project
```

2. Run command

- Local

- NPM

```bash
    # encrypt
    npx bayarcoek encrypt

# decrypt
    npx bayarcoek decrypt
    ```

- Yarn

```bash
    # encrypt
    yarn run bayarcoek encrypt

# decrypt
    yarn run bayarcoek decrypt
    ```

- pnpm

```bash
    # encrypt
    pnpm exec bayarcoek encrypt

# decrypt
    pnpm exec bayarcoek decrypt
    ```

- Global

```bash
  # encrypt
  bayarcoek encrypt

# decrypt
  bayarcoek decrypt
  ```

## Advanced Usage

### Meng-encrypt satu file (atau lebih)

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt [nama_file_1] [nama_file_2] [dst]
```

### Mengubah extension

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt [nama_file] -x plongaplongo
# npx bayarcoek encrypt [nama_file] --extension plongaplongo
```

### Mengubah secret key

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt [nama_file] -k awokawokawok
# npx bayarcoek encrypt [nama_file] --secret-key awokawokawok
```

### Men-decrypt satu file (atau lebih)

```bash
npx bayarcoek decrypt [nama_file_1] [nama_file_2] [dst]
```

### Men-decrypt satu file dan timpa (file yang encrypted secara otomatis terhapus setelah di-decrypt)

```bash
npx bayarcoek decrypt [nama_file_1] -o
# npx bayarcoek decrypt [nama_file_1] --overwrite
```

### Menampilkan menu bantuan

```bash
npx bayarcoek -h
# npx bayarcoek --help
```

### Menampilkan nomor versi

```bash
npx bayarcoek -v
# npx bayarcoek --version
```

## New Features (v3.3+)

### Dry Run Mode

Preview operasi tanpa benar-benar mengeksekusinya:

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt --dry-run
npx bayarcoek decrypt --dry-run
```

### Verbose Output

Tampilkan informasi detail tentang operasi:

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt -v
# npx bayarcoek encrypt --verbose
```

### Quiet Mode

Supresi semua output kecuali error:

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt -q
# npx bayarcoek encrypt --quiet
```

### Backup Files

Buat backup sebelum enkripsi/dekripsi:

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt -b
# npx bayarcoek encrypt --backup
```

### Logging

Simpan hasil operasi ke file log:

```bash
npx bayarcoek encrypt --log-file ./bayarcoek.log
```

### Gitignore Support

Bayarcoek secara otomatis menghormati file `.gitignore` di root direktori project.

## Environment Variable

- `BAYARCOEK_KEY` = Secret key untuk enkripsi
- `BAYARCOEK_EXT` = Extension file hasil enkripsi

Jalankan test suite dengan:

Periksa kualitas kode:

```bash
npm run lint
# Perbaiki otomatis:
npm run lint:fix

## Troubleshooting

### "Decryption failed - you may be using an incorrect secret key"

Ini berarti secret key yang Anda gunakan untuk dekripsi tidak sesuai dengan yang digunakan untuk enkripsi. Pastikan Anda menggunakan secret key yang benar atau set environment variable `BAYARCOEK_KEY`.

### "Permission denied"

Jalankan dengan privilege yang sesuai atau pastikan Anda memiliki akses tulis ke direktori yang akan dienkripsi/dekripsi.

### "File not found"

Pastikan path file atau direktori yang Anda berikan sudah benar dan file/direktori tersebut ada.
