# Installation Guide
1. Get the code
git clone https://github.com/sentient-agi/OpenDeepSearch
Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.
cd OpenDeepSearch
Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.
2. Official Install Script
Easy Recommendedcurl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pdm-project/pdm/main/install-pdm.py | python3 -
Runs the Python script (or module).
After installing, open a new terminal and run the program's version command (e.g. --version) to confirm it worked.

3. Python
EasyPrerequisites
pip install -e . #you can also use: uv pip install -e .
Installs the Python libraries listed in requirements.txt (or similar).
pip install -r requirements.txt #you can also use: uv pip install -r requirements.txt
