# HC2000

## Note în limba română
Proiect de reconstrucție HC2000

Ce s-a folosit pentru a crea acest proiect:
- Versiunea originală a schemei HC-2000 Rev B care a fost obținută prin intermediul grupului Romanian Home Computer (mulțumiri speciale domnului George Chirtoacă)
- Schema Eagle a HC-2000 Rev B realizată de dl. Liviu Grama, care este de asemenea membru al grupului Romanian Home Computer
- Un exemplar fizic al unui HC-2000 Rev E furnizat de dl. Oică Cezar pentru reparații

Note despre diferențe:
- HC2000_ORIGINAL este proiectul realizat folosind scanările cablajului exemplarului fizic HC-2000 Rev E
- gerberele au fost create folosind proiectul HC2000, care este Rev E modificată pentru a include firele lipite peste cablaj
- observați că unele componente au două valori precum R28, R40 și R41 egale cu 220/1K: prima valoare 220 este pentru Rev B și a doua valoare 1K este pentru Rev E
- unde se întâlnește un "-", înseamnă că acea componentă lipsește pe cablajul Rev E, dar locul de amplasare al componentei este disponibil
- pentru conectorul de alimentare am adăugat pe lângă locul de amplasare al conectorului original, un conector cu 6 pini DIN

**IMPORTANT**: În prima revizie a proiectului s-au strecurat câteva greșeli:
- Nu am observat o tăietură pe placa originală ceea ce a dus la unirea a două trasee. Această secțiune este documentată pe grupul Romanian Home Computer de Radioman V: https://groups.google.com/g/romanianhomecomputer/c/qHbKBThCIQc/m/c_SBp--mCgAJ

- Au rămas două circuite cu titulatura veche de pe proiectul original care a fost convertit

## English notes
HC2000 rebuild project

What was used to create this project:
- Original version of the schematic of HC-2000 Rev B that was obtained through the Romanian Home Computer group (special thanks to mr. George Chirtoacă)
- Eagle schematic of the HC-2000 Rev B made by mr. Liviu Grama also a member of the Romanian Home Computer group
- A physical HC-2000 Rev E provided by mr. Oică Cezar for repairs

Notes on the diferences:
- HC2000_ORIGINAL is the project made using PCB scans of the physical HC-2000 Rev E
- gerbers were created using HC2000 project witch is the modified Rev E witch includes the over-the-PCB soldered wires
- notice some components have two values like R28, R40 and R41 equal 220/1K: first value 220 is for Rev B and second value 1K is for Rev E
- where a "-" is encountered, it means that the component is missing on Rev E but the footprint is available
- for the power connector I added side by side with the original connector's footprint, a 6-pin DIN connector

**IMPORTANT**: In the original project a few mistakes slipped in.
- I did not notice a cut on the original PCB witch led to joining of two tracks. This section is documented on the Romanian Home Computer group by Radioman V: https://groups.google.com/g/romanianhomecomputer/c/qHbKBThCIQc/m/c_SBp--mCgAJ
