Prerequisites

Setup Steps

npm install -g @bitkyc08/opencodex

Install opencodex globally via npm.

ocx start

Start the proxy and dashboard on localhost.

ocx init

Interactively configure settings and wire Codex.

Key Commands

ocx start

Start the proxy server and dashboard.

ocx service

Run the proxy as a background service.

ocx init

Run interactive setup utility for initial configuration.

ocx gui

Re-open the web dashboard interface.

ocx status

Report the running state and connection status.

ocx stop

Stop the running proxy and restore original configuration.

Requires Node.js 18+; the Bun runtime is bundled automatically.
