# Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/mareczek/international-phone-number

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd international-phone-number

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Node.js

Easy Recommended

Prerequisites

Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
Node.js Node.js must be installed to use npm. The LTS version is recommended.

npm install

Downloads and installs the libraries listed in package.json.

npm start

Starts the development/run server.

✅ After running the command, open the address shown in the terminal (usually something like http://localhost:3000) in your browser.

AngularJS directive implementing [intl-tel-input](https://github.com/Bluefieldscom/intl-tel-input) jQuery plugin.

Installation
--
Install via Bower:
`bower install international-phone-number --save`

Add module dependency to application:
`internationalPhoneNumber`

intl-tel-input is installed as a dependency. Make sure `intTelInput.js` is loaded first and add `flags.png` and `intlTelInput.css` to your project.

You can optionally include `bower_components/intl-tel-input/lib/libphonenumber/build/utils.js`.

Global configuration (in angulars config phase)

There is a constant `ipnConfig` available in which all of the defaults are configured.
To change the defaults simply use the `ipnConfig` object:
```coffeescript
angular.module('app')
    .config (ipnConfig) ->
        ipnConfig.defaultCountry = 'pl'
        ipnConfig.preferredCountries = ['pl', 'de', 'fr', 'uk', 'es']

```

Usage
---
Works for `text` and `tel` input types.
NgModel is required

```html
<input type="text" international-phone-number ng-model="phone">
```

with bound country. Useful when you have external contries control:
```html
<input type="text" international-phone-number only-countries ng-model="phone" country="country">
```

with preferred countries:
```html
<input type="text" international-phone-number preferred-countries="pl, de" ng-model="phone">
```

with default country:
```html
<input type="text" international-phone-number default-country="pl" ng-model="phone">
```

with countries only:
```html
<input type="text" international-phone-number only-countries ng-model="phone">
```

Feel free to mix options together:
```html
<input type="text" international-phone-number only-countries="pl, de, en, es" default-country="pl" preferred-countries="pl, de" ng-model="phone">
```

By default the directive lazy loads utils.js. If you want to load this yourself, use the `skip-util-script-download` attribute or set the ipnConfig.skipUtilScriptDownload to true.
