One-click **Game Mode** for Omarchy Quattro.

- Do-not-disturb, stay-awake, night light off, performance power profile
- Disable Hyprland animations, blur, shadows, and gaps — then restore the previous values on exit
- **Lock system keys** (on by default): suppress Super binds and Alt+Tab so they don't pull you out of a game. Super+1–10, copy/paste/cut, volume/brightness, and Super+Ctrl+G stay available
- Optional **Steam session**: Steam Deck UI in Gamescope, or Steam Big Picture if Gamescope is missing
- Quick-launch only the game clients you actually have installed

The bar stays. Click the gamepad chip to leave.

## Install

## Usage

- **Click** the gamepad chip to enter or leave Game Mode
- **Right-click** for settings, key lock, Steam session, and quick launch

Enable a Steam session from the panel (or the command below) so entering Game Mode also starts Big Picture / Gamescope.

Optional keybind:

## Steam session

When **Steam session** is on, entering Game Mode starts Steam and **keeps Game Mode on until Big Picture / Gamescope ends, Steam quits, or you click the chip again**.

Without Gamescope, Big Picture is fullscreened on the workspace you were looking at. Game Mode does not change dwindle vs scrolling (`SUPER + L`). When the session ends, Steam goes back to the workspace and tile-or-float state it had before.

The Steam quick-launch button only focuses (and, if needed, moves) the existing Steam window. It does not enter Big Picture.

### Leaving

- **Click the gamepad chip**, exit Big Picture, quit Steam, or leave Gamescope — Game Mode restores the desktop, and Steam returns to where it was

## Key lock

On by default. Entering Game Mode switches Hyprland into a `silvaio-gamemode` submap so desktop Super binds (menu, close window, fullscreen, …) and Alt+Tab stop stealing keys from the game.

Still available:

- Super+1 through Super+10 — workspace switching
- Super+C / Super+V / Super+X — Omarchy universal copy / paste / cut
- Volume, brightness, media keys, screenshot (Print), lid switch
- Super+Ctrl+G (or Super+Alt+G) — leave Game Mode
- Click the gamepad chip — always works, even if a bind is stuck

Turn it off from the panel if you want desktop binds while Game Mode is optimizing everything else.

If you already defined a personal `gamemode` submap in `~/.config/hypr/bindings.lua`, remove it so it doesn't fight the plugin. Bind the hotkey to the plugin instead:

## Settings

| Key | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| `lockKeys` | `true` | Enter Game Mode suppresses Hyprland Super binds and Alt+Tab. Workspaces 1–10 and copy/paste/cut stay available. |
| `steamGamescope` | `false` | Enter Game Mode launches a Steam Gamescope / Big Picture session. Leaving that session exits Game Mode. |

## Dependencies

Ships with Omarchy: `hyprctl`, `jq`, `notify-send`, and usually `powerprofilesctl`.

Optional, only if you enable the Gamescope session:

- Steam (`steam` or the Steam desktop entry)
- Gamescope (`gamescope`) — without it, Game Mode uses Steam Big Picture

## Remove

Exit Game Mode first so notifications, idle, power profile, and Hyprland settings are restored. Then:
