# Installation Guide

1. Get the code

git clone https://github.com/layerlre/StepIndicator

Downloads the entire project code from GitHub to your computer.

cd StepIndicator

Moves into the project folder you just downloaded.

2. Gradle (Java/Kotlin)

Medium Recommended

Prerequisites

Git Needed to download the project code from GitHub.
JDK (Java) Required to build and run Java/Kotlin projects.
Gradle If the repo includes gradlew (Gradle Wrapper), you don't need to install Gradle separately.

cd app

This project's files live in a subfolder, so move into it first.

./gradlew build

Builds the project using Gradle.

✅ A BUILD SUCCESSFUL message means it worked. The output is created under build/.

# Android StepIndicator

Interactive step paging indicator widget, compatible with the ViewPager

# Usage
  1. Include one of the widgets in your view. This should usually be placed
     adjacent to the `ViewPager` it represents.

            android:layout_height="wrap_content"
            android:layout_margin="16dp"
            app:siBackgroundColor="@color/background_default"

2. In your `onCreate` method (or `onCreateView` for a fragment), bind the
     indicator to the `ViewPager`.

//Set the pager with an adapter
           ViewPager pager = (ViewPager)findViewById(R.id.pager);
           pager.setAdapter(new TestAdapter(getSupportFragmentManager()));

//Bind the step indicator to the adapter
           StepIndicator stepIndicator = (StepIndicator) findViewById(R.id.step_indicator);
           stepIndicator.setupWithViewPager(pager);

# Customization
 * `siStepColor` Color of the step indicator
 * `siCurrentStepColor` Color of the current step
 * `siBackgroundColor` Background color of the step indicator
 * `siTextColor` Background color of the step indicator
 * `siSecondaryTextColor` Background color of the step indicator
 * `siRadius` Radius of the step indicator
 * `siStrokeWidth` Stroke Width of a current step
 * `siStepCount` Size of step (With out ViewPager)
