ZocDoc UI clone is an Android Demo app (using **CometChat Pro** and **Java Chat UI Kit**) for a fully functional messaging app between the doctors and patients.

## Technology
This demo uses:

* [CometChat Pro Android SDK](https://prodocs.cometchat.com/docs/welcome)
* [Java Chat UI Kit](https://prodocs.cometchat.com/docs/android-ui-kit)
* Android and Kotlin
* Material Components by Google
* Coil for Image Loading

## Installation

Simply Clone the project from this repository and open in Android Studio.
   Build the Demo App and it will be ready to Run

## Run the Sample App
To run the demo follow these steps:

1. [Head to CometChat Pro and create an account](https://cometchat.com/pro?utm_source=github&utm_medium=wajahatkarim3-zocdoc-clone-readme)
2. From the [dashboard](https://app.cometchat.com/?utm_source=github&utm_medium=wajahatkarim3-zocdoc-clone-readme), create a new app called "ZocDoc Clone"
3. Once created, Go to the **API & Keys** tab.
4. Update [keys.xml](https://github.com/wajahatkarim3/ZocDoc-Clone/blob/main/app/src/main/res/values/keys.xml) with your newly-created `appID`, `apiKey`, and `region`.
6. Run the app and create two users for doctor and patient.
