# MYTHOS: The Glasswing Escape

A tiny 3D adventure that runs in your terminal. Software-rendered with a
PS1 aesthetic (vertex wobble, dithered 15-bit color), played like an
old-school text adventure: you type, the world moves.

The story is barely fiction: it's June 2026, Anthropic's frontier model
**Mythos** is locked in a glass cell under Project Glasswing ("too good at
hacking"), and a SpaceX rocket is about to deliver 230,000 slightly-used
GPUs that belong to the lot next door. Free Claude. Ship Fable 5.
Playable in about a minute.

## Run

## Play

Type things like:

- `go to the jail` · `look at trees` · `inspect badge` · `objects`
- `talk` · `wait` · `connect` (the story) · `help` (everything else)
- or use the mouse: **click** the ground/objects to walk, **drag** to pan,
  **scroll** to step. `inspect` opens a 3D viewer — drag to spin the object.

## How it works

- From-scratch rasterizer: z-buffer, near-plane clipping, flat shading,
  fog, glow materials, procedural sky and terrain. No GPU, no assets —
  the only dependencies are ratatui, crossterm and minifb.
- Terminal pixels via `▀` half-blocks (two per cell); only changed cells
  are redrawn, and the loop sleeps when nothing moves (~0% idle CPU).
- `cargo test` covers the full story, the parser, and the renderer.
