Fluxon is a browser extension that helps you save any resources on a webpage easily. It can be used to download video and image. **Note: YouTube is not supported.**

## Installation

### Chrome / Edge / Chromium

**From the Chrome Web Store** *(recommended)*:

**Manual (unpacked) install:**

1. Download the latest `fluxon-*.zip` from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/liruqi/fluxon/releases) and extract it.
2. Open Chrome and navigate to `chrome://extensions`.
3. Enable **Developer mode** (toggle in the top-right corner).
4. Click **Load unpacked**.
5. Select the extracted folder (the one containing `manifest.json`).

The Fluxon icon will appear in your toolbar. Pin it for easy access.

### Firefox

**From the Firefox Add-ons (AMO)** *(recommended)*: 
[Download Fluxon on AMO](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fluxon/)

**Manual (temporary) install:**

1. Download the latest `fluxon-*.zip` from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/liruqi/fluxon/releases) and extract it.
2. Open Firefox and navigate to `about:debugging`.
3. Click **This Firefox**.
4. Click **Load Temporary Add-on…**.
5. Select the `manifest.json` file from the extracted folder.

> **Note:** Temporary add-ons are removed when Firefox restarts. For persistent installation, use the official **Firefox Add-ons** link above.

### Safari (macOS & iOS)

1. Ensure you have **Xcode** installed on your Mac.
2. Open Terminal and run the Safari Web Extension Converter:
   ```bash
   xcrun safari-web-extension-converter . --project-location ../FluxonSafari
   ```
   *(Run this inside the extracted `fluxon` directory)*
3. Safari Web Extension Converter will generate an Xcode project and open it.
4. In Xcode, select your target (macOS or iOS) and click the **Run** (Play) button to build and install the app.
5. Once installed, open Safari Preferences (or **Settings > Safari > Extensions** on iOS) and enable the **Fluxon** extension.

## Usage

After installing, navigate to any page with downloadable media. Click the Fluxon icon in the toolbar to see detected resources, then click **Download** or **Merge** (for HLS/m3u8 streams).
