This repository contains a Windows tray app that sets up and keeps updated a [Last.FM](https://www.last.fm) widget on your Discord profile, showing your scrobbles, artists, tracks, albums, top track and top album.

## Getting Started
You have three options:
- **Run it from source** — just run `discord_lastfm_tray.py` with Python (requires Python + the dependencies in `requirements.txt`)
- **Build it yourself** — package it into a standalone `.exe` (see `BUILD_EXE_INSTRUCTIONS.md`)
- **Download a prebuilt `.exe`** from the [Releases](../../releases) page — no Python or dependencies required, just run it

## Requirements
Python 3.10+
`requests`, `Pillow`, `pystray` (see `requirements.txt` — `pip install -r requirements.txt`)
A Discord [developer application](https://discord.com/developers/applications)
and [Last.fm API account](https://last.fm/api/account/create)

## Automatic Stat Updates
Unlike a plain scheduled script, this project ships with its own tray app (`discord_lastfm_tray.py`) — it runs continuously in the background and updates the widget on a timer you control (1/5/15/30/60 min) right from the tray menu, no Task Scheduler needed.
