By merging traditional SIEM capabilities with real-time AI behavioural analytics, SentinelX provides an unparalleled command center experience for security operations centers (SOC).

Built with an intense focus on **UI/UX, high-performance animations, and workflow automation**, SentinelX turns raw data into a beautiful, actionable narrative.

- 🛡️ **Cyber Fusion Command Center**: A bird's-eye view of the global threat landscape featuring live telemetry streams, automated MITRE ATT&CK mapping, and actionable triage queues.
- 🤖 **Interactive AI Security Copilot**: A fully simulated, streaming AI assistant embedded into the Investigation Workspace. Ask questions about blast radius, persistence methods, or anomalies and get instant, context-aware responses.

## 🚦 Getting Started

Follow these steps to run the complete platform locally:

### 1. Start the Backend API
The backend requires Python 3.10+ and serves all the mocked incident and customer data.

source venv/bin/activate  # (or venv\Scripts\activate on Windows)
pip install -r requirements.txt
python seed.py            # Generates the local sentinelx.db
uvicorn main:app --reload --port 8000
```

### 2. Start the Frontend Client
The frontend requires Node.js 18+.

Open [http://localhost:3000](http://localhost:3000) in your browser to access the Command Center!

## 🧪 Simulation Guide (Try these out!)
Once the application is running, try out these interactive workflows:
1. **DDoS Attack**: Navigate to the **Threat Map** and hit "Simulate DDoS Attack" in the top right corner.
2. **AI Interrogation**: Go to **Investigations**, select an incident from the Triage Queue, and chat with the AI Copilot on the right panel.
3. **Execute Playbook**: Press **Cmd+K** on your keyboard, search for "Isolate", and hit Enter to simulate an automated playbook.
4. **Zero-Day Injection**: Go to **Behavioral Twins** and click "Inject Anomaly" to watch the user's trust score collapse under an active attack.
5. **Campaign Takedown**: Go to **Campaigns**, click on the "Campaign" node in the center graph, and hit "Neutralize Infrastructure" in the side panel.
